Olivia Sheng is a writer and director based in Los Angeles and New York.
Growing up, Olivia found her calling in fiction writing and piano, giving her the opportunity to self-publish multiple books and perform in Carnegie Hall. She is currently double-majoring in Dramatic Writing and Philosophy at New York University. As an eclectic filmmaker, Olivia is compelled by the absurdities of the human brain, society, and schools of thought. She enjoys exploring the intersection between academia and film by telling stories that push boundaries and challenge ideological constructs. As she continues to grow as an interdisciplinary creative, Olivia hopes to use her unique perspective of the world to redefine our current understanding of AAPI and POC narratives.
